NCAEA Presentation

Welcome fellow art teachers!
Thank you for coming to the presentation on how Alexander County arts teachers implemented the new Essential Standards at the NC Art Education Association Conference in Asheville.  It was great getting to see each of you, share ideas, and support one another.
If you are interested in the Prezi presentation I gave concerning our implementation process in Alexander County, please click here.  If you are looking for our curriculum maps, please click here.
Thanks again.  Also, if you have any other questions or concerns, please contact me at rstewart@alexander.k12.nc.us

Revised Bloom's Taxonomy DPI Module

Dear ACS Arts Staff,
I heard from Dr. Hefner that we need to view the next DPI Module "Revised Bloom's Taxonomy" before our next PD day on March 27th.  Here are the directions on how to do that.  You will need to go to the NC Education Website and log in.  Please make sure you print off and save your certificates.  If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me.
Also, for our PD day we might have some visitors from other districts as we work on the next steps of our Curriculum Mapping.  Sarah, Amy, and I decided that "pot luck" lunch would be good.  We thought sandwiches and snacks would be best.  I'll send you a Google Document Sign Up sheet for food soon.
Can't wait to see you on March 27th!
